For over 25 years, Donna has worked at our practice as a registered dental assistant and front desk receptionist. She strives to help our patients keep their mouths healthy and bright. For the entirety of her time at Dr. Matthew Scaffa’s office, she has noticed the unrelenting attention our team gives to our patients. Donna is married to her husband, Matthew, and they have three children, Christopher, Dominic and Anthony. In her free time, she enjoys drawing/coloring and writing poems and short stories.
Maria — Dental Hygienist
After graduating from the New York City College of Technology in 2018 and receiving her associate degree in dental hygiene, Maria joined our dental team here in Staten Island, New York. Her education continues each day as she promotes the best patient care possible. She has been practicing dental hygiene in Manhattan and Staten Island since graduating and is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association. She has good experience with families and children, and a surplus of knowledge pertaining to the benefits of orthodontic treatment. Maria has also taken the training to become CPR and AED certified. Her goals as a dental hygienist are to provide care specified to each patient’s needs and make the dental office a place where patients feel comfortable and satisfied after each appointment, smiling brighter than the one they came in with.
